Bucket-list seems to be the buzz-word these days, with everyone trying to cross stuff off theirs. I’m no exception, I have one as long as my arm and it keeps growing! There are just too many places in the world to explore, so much to see, and not enough time. But I’m lucky to have been able to travel since I’ve been young and have already managed to tick off quite a few things off my list, so I reckon I’m not doing too badly.
So here is my bucket-list, I’ve kept on the stuff I’ve already managed to tick-off in bold and if I’ve written about my experience you can follow the link and read about it. Some of the things on the list are places I want to visit but also experiences I’d like to have and things I hope to accomplish both in exotic lands and at home.

- Go on safari
- fly in a helicopter
- Fly in a sea plane/ bush plane

- Visit a Greek island
- See the ‘Winter big 5’- bear, moose, whales, wolves, lynx
- See baby sea turtles make it to the sea
- Visit Angkor Wat
- Australia- see koalas, kangaroos, Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef
- Italy- Rome, Tuscany, Venice, Sardinia
- See the ‘Nacht wacht’ in Amsterdam
- Northern India- tigers, Taj Mahal, Fort cities
- Visit Hong Kong/ Shanghai
- Japan- onsens, Tokyo, bullet train
- Go on car trips with the monkeys
- Learn to snowboard
- Visit the Grand Canyon
- Do a road trip through California
- Visit Hawaii
- Swim with turtles and whale sharks
- Visit Mauritius– dolphins, snorkelling, giant tortoises, hills and waterfalls
- Fly in a hot air balloon
- Visit a desert camp and sand dunes
- See the lavender fields in Provence
- Own a red car
- South Africa- penguins, rhino, leopards, table mountain
- See the great migration plus cheetahs
- Bake something special
- visit NYC
- Visit a castaway island- Maldives/ Fiji
- Costa Rica- zip lining in the jungle, baby monkeys/sloths/tapirs
- Visit Eastern Europe

- Lie on the grass all summer with my monkeys

- Learn to surf
